To make it easier to install and update SBIG drivers on 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Windows Vista SBIG has created a new SBIGDriverChecker64.exe utility that you can download below. First read the Application Note then download and run the installer (SetupDriverChecker64.exe). If you have an internet connection Windows Update should automatically download and install the system driver. Try right-clicking and selecting Update Driver. If you do not have an Internet connection there is a driver package on the USB stick that you can install manually. They are under DL Imaging Driver (Aluma, STC, StarChaser) System Drivers. Drivers compatible with Windows® 7, Windows® 8, and Windows® 10. Installing USB-Link 2 drivers will disable the old USB-Link drivers on your PC. If you want to use both the USB-Link 2 and the old USB-Link, you will have to reinstall the old USB-Link drivers after installing the USB-Link 2 drivers. Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer, choose Manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel), or right click on Start Menu for Windows 10 and select Device Manager 3. Right click on the hardware device you wish to update and choose Update Driver Software 4. Intel Android device USB driver is a freeware software download filed under drivers and made available by Intel for Windows. The review for Intel Android device USB driver has not been completed yet, but it was tested by an editor here on a PC.
This tiny driver utility quickly searches your system for connected hardware. It identifies many different connected devices and also includes hardware which has been marked as 'Unknown' in the device manager.
It gives you a little bit more information about a certain device so that you can find the proper drivers required to get it up and going in Windows.
Unfortunately when we tested an older scanner we thought was heading to the dustbin, it was configured that our old scanner would probably never work any newer version of Windows.
In short, this is a small tool which may help you figure out whether there are drivers available for your potentially outdated device.
